Pay Rate: $19.00+/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Description:
We are seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations in Dallas, TX. This position involves safely operating various types of material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and organize products throughout the facility. Candidates must be comfortable operating multiple types of forklifts and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers to move and transport materials.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Material Handling: Move, stack, retrieve, and stage products in designated warehouse locations.
Inventory Organization: Maintain accurate product placement and assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization.
Shipment Inspection: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, visible damage, or discrepancies.
Equipment Inspections: Perform basic pre-operation equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Housekeeping: Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure warehouse aisles remain clear.
Safety Compliance: Follow all equipment operating procedures, warehouse safety guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
Typical Qualifications
Experience: Previous forklift operating experience required.
Equipment Knowledge: Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
Safety Awareness: Ability to operate equipment safely while maneuvering through warehouse aisles and handling palletized materials.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities throughout the shift.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions, handle materials carefully, and maintain accuracy.
Reliability: Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Availability: Must be available Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
