Job Position: Distribution Facility-EPJ Operator

Job Summary
The EPJ Operator (Electric Pallet Jack) is responsible for the rapid movement of goods through the warehouse to support high-volume distribution.
Operating as a key part of the fulfillment team, you will use a motorized pallet jack to pick orders, load/unload trailers, and transport heavy pallets across the facility safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely operate a motorized electric pallet jack (single, double, or triple) to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

Order Selecting: Navigate warehouse aisles to "case pick"items from racks, stacking them onto pallets following specific "building"instructions to ensure load stability.

Shipping & Receiving: Efficiently load outbound trailers and unload inbound shipments.

Digital Integration: Use RF scanners or voice-picking systems to confirm item accuracy, update inventory counts, and print shipping labels.

Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on the EPJ (e.g., checking battery, brakes, and controls) and maintain a clean work area according to safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience operating a motorized electric pallet jack in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Certification: Must pass the internal operator safety training and certification exam provided by the facility.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Skills: Attention to detail for accuracy and basic mathematical skills for inventory tracking.

Communication: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
