Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traffic Routing Associate to join our logistics team at a warehouse facility in Brookshire, TX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating product deliveries, optimizing driver routes, and ensuring smooth and efficient traffic operations.
This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of logistics and routing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate delivery routes for company drivers and third-party carriers.
Monitor delivery progress and proactively resolve any routing or scheduling issues.
Communicate daily with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
Maintain and update routing information in internal systems.
Assist with load planning, order tracking, and route optimization to improve efficiency and control costs.
Prepare and organize shipping and routing documentation, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery confirmations.
Support compliance with all company, safety, and DOT regulations.
Provide general administrative support to the transportation department as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; or at least 2 years of related experience in transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with routing or TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor.
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse and office setting.
Frequent communication with drivers, dispatchers, and logistics personnel.
Must be able to sit, stand, and communicate effectively throughout the shift.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
