Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success, growth, and profitability of a staffing branch supporting light industrial and stadium event clients. This role leads business development efforts, oversees daily operations, and manages a high-performing team to ensure seamless talent placement, client satisfaction, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to grow both revenue and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and grow market share. Lead business development efforts, including contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and participation in networking and lead generation initiatives. Oversee daily branch operations, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and workforce management, ensuring efficient and timely staffing fulfillment. Manage and mentor internal staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and workers, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies while maintaining accurate reporting of financial and staffing metrics. Promote a safe work environment and handle any incidents, audits, or compliance-related matters as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in staffing or workforce solutions, along with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or sales-focused role. Strong experience in business development, account management, and high-volume staffing environments is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, workforce management tools, employment laws, and safety regulations is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
