Core Personnel Staffing Services is seeking a Bilingual Safety & Operations Coordinator for a premier national precast concrete facility. This is a critical leadership role responsible for fostering a “Culture of Safety” and modeling an employee-driven, hazard-controlled environment. You will act as the bridge between production goals and safety compliance, ensuring the facility meets rigorous quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership: Promote and model a "Hazard Controlled"environment for all staff and production employees.

  • Morning Briefings: Lead and document morning safety huddles and briefings to promote a zero-accident culture.

  • Compliance Auditing: Perform daily plant walks, utilize housekeeping scorecards, and document potential hazards with formal closure of completion.

  • Regulatory Training: Coordinate monthly OSHA compliance training with EH&S Managers and ensure the Safety Committee is actively engaged.

  • Production Coordination: Assist the Plant Manager in maintaining continuous flow production methods and coordinating daily/weekly production plans.

  • Process Improvement: Actively seek out and implement improvements for asset utilization, raw material cost reduction, and team balancing.

  • Communication: Establish formal and informal communications between maintenance, operations, sales, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Mastery: Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish) to lead safety huddles and communicate with a diverse workforce.

  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of precast processes, equipment, and industry best practices.

  • Safety Expertise: Workable knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmentally compliant production methods.

  • Leadership Stamina: Ability to manage a high-volume production schedule and work extended hours (including Saturdays) in an industrial environment.

  • Documentation Skills: Proficiency in maintaining systematic training plans and maintenance management systems.
