## Job Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties, including handling, moving, sorting, and organizing products as assigned.
- Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Read, recognize, and accurately identify letters and numbers to help ensure products are handled and processed correctly.
- Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks while meeting daily production goals.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where temperatures may vary.
- Remain on your feet for extended periods while standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving materials as needed.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area by following warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
- Pay close attention to detail to reduce errors and maintain accuracy when handling products.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet department goals and daily workload requirements.
- Follow all attendance, punctuality, performance, and workplace conduct expectations.
- Demonstrate flexibility when workload increases and additional hours are required.

## Schedule and Seasonal Availability
The regular schedule for this position is **Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM**, making it a part-time afternoon opportunity. However, candidates must understand that warehouse hours may be extended depending on business needs and product volume.
**Mandatory overtime:** All shifts at DM may require up to 2 additional hours of overtime, depending on workload and production demands. Employees must be willing and available to stay beyond their scheduled shift when required.
**Blackout period:** Employees must be available to work throughout the blackout period from **November 27 through December 10**. This is a critical time for seasonal warehouse operations, and reliable attendance is especially important. Candidates should plan accordingly and ensure they can fulfill their scheduled shifts during this period.
## Attendance and Performance Expectations
Reliable attendance is an essential requirement for this seasonal assignment. Employees are expected to arrive on time, complete their scheduled shifts, communicate appropriately regarding any issues, and follow all workplace policies. Consistent attendance is particularly important during the holiday season when warehouse volume and production demands increase.
Associates must also maintain a steady pace, follow safety procedures, and meet department productivity expectations. The ability to work independently while cooperating with other team members will help ensure daily operations run smoothly.
## Physical Work Environment
This position involves active warehouse work throughout the shift. Employees should be prepared to lift and move products, perform repetitive movements, bend and reach as needed, and remain standing or walking for extended periods. The warehouse is non-climate-controlled, so employees may experience changing temperatures throughout the day.
