Moving and stacking rugs
Preparing products for shipment
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Heavy lifting and physical labor
Standing and working for extended periods
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
LUMPER – RUG WAREHOUSE
We are currently hiring Lumpers to work in a busy rug warehouse. This is a physically demanding position that requires employees to be comfortable working in a hot warehouse environment and performing heavy manual labor throughout the shift.
Job Responsibilities:

Load and unload rugs and other warehouse materials from trucks and containers.

Lift, carry, move, and stack rugs safely throughout the warehouse.

Organize rugs according to size, order, and designated warehouse locations.

Assist with receiving incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.

Wrap, label, and stage products for shipment when needed.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.

Work as part of a team to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Perform repetitive lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry heavy rugs repeatedly.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull for extended periods.

Must be comfortable performing physical labor for the entire shift.

Must be able to work safely in a hot warehouse environment with limited climate control.

Must maintain a steady pace while handling physically demanding tasks.
Work Environment:
The position is located in a busy rug warehouse and can become very hot, especially during warmer months. Employees should be prepared to work in heat while performing continuous physical labor. Proper hydration, appropriate work clothing, and following all safety procedures are important.
Warehouse, loading/unloading, or general labor experience is a plus, but reliable candidates who are willing to perform physical work are encouraged to apply.
