Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to support the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of steel piping components and related industrial materials. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate identification, documentation, inventory control, and a clean and organized warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate has experience working with pipes, valves, fittings, and flanges, preferably within the oil and gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries, and is comfortable operating forklifts, order pickers, and overhead cranes.
Key Responsibilities
-Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and other documentation.
-Safely unload, move, and store steel piping components and related materials.
-Prepare and package customer orders accurately and efficiently.
-Select and verify the correct products and components for each order.
-Operate forklifts, order pickers, and overhead cranes safely and responsibly.
-Maintain accurate material identification, labeling, and documentation.
-Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
-Inspect materials for quantity, identification, and visible damage.
-Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and work area.
-Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling practices.
-Work effectively with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and other operational teams.
Minimum Qualifications
-At least 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or material-handling role.
-Experience handling pipes, valves, fittings, and flanges.
-ndustry experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or a related industrial environment preferred.
-Current forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.
-Experience with order pickers and/or overhead cranes preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to properly identify, organize, and document materials.
-Ability to safely handle and move heavy industrial materials.
-Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift.
