About the Role
Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Manifest Lead to own outbound shipping operations for a fast-paced warehouse and production client. You'll run the manifesting process, keep the dock compliant with carrier requirements, and make sure every scheduled pickup goes out on time and accurately. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows shipping inside and out and can train and hold a team to standard work.
What You'll Do

Oversee daily outbound manifesting, including closing out the daily manifest and completing all required documentation.

Run hourly on-dock audits and a daily shipping audit to confirm process compliance and catch recurring issues.

Inspect and sign off on outbound gaylords, pallets, and trailers to confirm they meet carrier requirements.

Coordinate product movement to staging areas and trailers ahead of scheduled carrier pickups.

Verify manifests, labels, scan activity, and shipment data for accuracy, and investigate and resolve exceptions.

Build and maintain a monthly carrier pickup calendar and escalate missed or late pickups.

Train and coach shipping and conveyor employees on systems, scanning, manifesting, and new procedures.

Troubleshoot shipping and logistics system issues with IT, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Partner with production, Facilities, and the Warehouse Manager to keep outbound flow and conveyor sortation running smoothly.
What You Bring

Experience in warehouse, shipping, dock, logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing operations.

Proven ability to lead and direct work through others in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of manifesting, scanning, staging, loading, and carrier pickup processes.

Comfort learning and using warehouse, ERP, scanning, and shipping systems.

Strong attention to detail with manifests, labels, and documentation.

Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams, carriers, and vendors.

Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Availability to work the assigned shift and support peak shipping and pickup windows.
