Position Overview
Core Personnel Staffing Services has partnered with a premier distribution and logistics center in Katy, TX to immediately hire an experienced Forklift Operator & General Warehouse Associate .
This role is ideal for safety-conscious operators who are skilled on industrial equipment and comfortable handling both forklift operations and general floor duties. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency during an on-site equipment evaluation prior to placement.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely operate Sit-Down and/or Stand-Up forklifts to transport, stage, stack, and move inventory across the warehouse floor.

Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Assist with loading and unloading freight trailers, staging pallets, and preparing orders for daily dispatch.

Inventory Management: Utilize scanning equipment and pick sheets to locate, verify, and transport cases and palletized goods accurately.

Warehouse Floor Support: Perform general warehouse duties, including pallet building, packing, wrapping, and maintaining clean, clear warehouse aisles.
Requirements & Qualifications

F orklift Experience: Proven hands-on experience operating Sit-Down and Stand-Up forklifts in an active warehouse environment.

Hands-On Skills Test: Must successfully pass an on-site practical Forklift Evaluation/Test during the interview process.

Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs as needed during general warehouse tasks.

Work Ethic & Safety: Excellent track record of attendance, punctuality, and commitment to facility safety protocols.
