Job Position: Sit Down Forklift
Location: Dallas, TX 75227
Pay Rate: $18.84/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift 2PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri
Description: Drive a seated forklift to safely load, unload, move, and stack heavy palletized goods. Manage high-volume inventory placement, complete daily safety checks, and stage products to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, containers, and flatbeds.
Storage and Putaway: Transport and stack full pallet loads into high-tier racks or designated floor locations.
Inventory Control: Scan barcodes using RF scanners or log stock updates in a warehouse management system (WMS).
Safety Compliance: Perform mandatory OSHA-compliant pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain safe speeds in aisles.
General Support: Shrink-wrap loads, rotate stock (FIFO), and report damaged or missing inventory.
Experience:
Prior experience operating sit-down counterbalance trucks in a fast-paced logistics or distribution hub.
Physical Ability:
Capability to sit for long periods, twist/turn to look backward while reversing, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
