Job Overview

Core Personnel is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a warehouse operation in Carrollton. This position will support daily shipping and receiving activities, including processing paperwork, verifying shipments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with warehouse personnel. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable with computers, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process incoming and outgoing shipments and verify quantities, labels, and shipping documentation. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and enter information into company systems. Coordinate with warehouse personnel and drivers to ensure shipments are processed efficiently. Identify discrepancies, damaged materials, or documentation issues and report them appropriately. Assist with general administrative duties related to warehouse and shipping operations.

Required Qualifications

Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or clerical experience is preferred. Basic computer and data-entry skills are required. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and packing slips. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, shipping software, UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, or similar shipping operations is a plus.
