Server PCB Troubleshooting & Repair Technician
Location: El Paso, TX
Pay Rate: $16.00 – $25.00 / hour (Based on experience & interview outcome)
Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

About the RoleCore Personnel Staffing Services is seeking skilled Server PCB Troubleshooting & Repair Technicians to join a high-tech electronics and server manufacturing facility in El Paso, TX.
In this role, you will perform root-cause failure analysis, microsoldering, and component-level repairs on server mainboards and printed circuit boards (PCBs). Key Responsibilities

Board-Level Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause failure analysis, short-circuit detection, and testing on server PCBs and mainboards.

Precision Soldering: Execute microsoldering and SMT component replacement to repair defective electronic components.

Testing & Diagnostics: Utilize electronic test equipment, diagnostic tools, and test fixtures to analyze failures and verify proper functionality post-repair.

Quality & Documentation: Accurately log repair activities, troubleshooting results, and test outcomes according to SOPs and safety standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Test teams to resolve complex technical issues and support process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electronic equipment repair, testing, rework, or troubleshooting (servers, laptops, PCs, or PCBs).

Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and circuit diagrams. Familiarity with SMT components and electronic test tools.

Preferred Experience: Strong preference given to candidates with microsoldering, server motherboard repair, or short-circuit detection experience.

Certifications (Bonus): IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721 certifications are a huge plus!

Education: High school diploma/technical school certificate required; Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Technology preferred.
