Receiving Truck Coordinator
Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st shift

Core Personnel Staffing is currently hiring a Receiving Truck Coordinator for a premier warehouse and electronics assembly client in Katy, TX.
The Receiving Truck Coordinator plays a vital role in warehouse operations by managing inbound truck traffic and processing receiving documentation to ensure the timely unloading and accurate receipt of materials. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for arriving drivers and prioritize dock activity based on FIFO, shipment volume, and material urgency.
Key Responsibilities

Inbound Traffic Control: Coordinate inbound truck arrivals, assign docks, and manage unloading sequences to optimize yard flow and minimize driver wait times.

Driver Communication: Serve as the main contact for arriving drivers; verify truck details and communicate updates via two-way radio.

Yard Management: Conduct regular yard walks to monitor arriving shipments, verify dock requirements, and manage traffic flow.

Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate receiving logs and documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Packing Lists, and internal Goods Receipt (GR) paperwork.

Priority Handling: Identify and prioritize production-critical shipments to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Issue Escalation: Promptly document and escalate shipment discrepancies, material damages, or delivery delays to warehouse leadership.

Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety, yard navigation, and traffic procedures.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Previous experience in warehouse receiving, logistics coordinator roles, or transportation coordination preferred.

System Knowledge: Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills required; experience with SAP Warehouse Management System is a strong plus.

Communication: Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal teams.

Physical Requirements: Ability to walk frequently across warehouse and outdoor yard areas in varying weather conditions; ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
