Position: Technical Quality Control Inspector

Location: Katy, TX 77493

Pay Rates: $22.00 / Hour (Day Shift) | $24.00 / Hour (Night Shift)

In this role, you will act as the final line of defense on the production floor—verifying that complex industrial systems, heavy-duty motor drives, and switchgears match exact engineering specifications prior to shipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Structural & Visual Inspection: Perform detailed visual and hands-on audits of in-process and finished assemblies against engineering blueprints, drawings, and wiring schematics.

  • Non-Conformance Documentation: Identify, log, and isolate non-conforming products (NCP), reporting technical variances to engineering for quick resolution.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Review manufacturing logs and quality records to ensure full compliance with active drawing revisions and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Safety & Workplace Standards: Ensure proper PPE usage, report floor hazards, and maintain inspection zones according to 6S guidelines.

  • Team Guidance : Provide technical support and process mentorship to entry-level quality team members.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of quality control experience in a manufacturing setting (2+ years preferred).

  • Blueprint & Schematic Literacy: Ability to accurately read, interpret, and trace electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical blueprints.

  • Precision Tools: Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and standard measuring instruments.

  • Software & Communication: Proficient in English (oral and written) with intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) for compiling digital reports.

  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods on the production floor and lifting up to 40 lbs.
