Are you a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional looking for a long-term position in food manufacturing? Core Personnel Staffing is partnering with a premier food production facility in Sealy, TX to hire an experienced QA Technician .

In this role, you will perform daily quality and sanitation audits of production equipment and finished products, ensuring facility operations comply with food safety standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality & Product Audits: Inspect process control points and finished goods to verify compliance with product specifications; document audit results accurately on official reporting forms.

• Sanitation Inspections: Conduct daily post-sanitation pre-op inspections on equipment to ensure thorough cleaning; execute corrective actions immediately if deficiencies are identified.

• Sanitary Facility Monitoring: Monitor food processing areas during active operations to ensure continuous adherence to sanitary conditions and food safety guidelines.

• Deviation Resolution: Assist in identifying root causes for product or process deviations and coordinate corrective actions with department supervisors.

• Compliance & Policies: Enforce and strictly adhere to all company food safety, quality assurance policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (4-year degree or specialized QA coursework is a plus).

• Experience: 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (Food Processing / Food Manufacturing industry strongly preferred).

• Skills & Certifications:

  • Basic HACCP knowledge or formal HACCP training is preferred.

  • Strong math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and manage ratios/percentages).

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) for record-keeping and department reporting.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
