Location: Denton, TX 76207

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Production Line Coordinator / Production Lead to oversee day-to-day operations on our high-volume manufacturing floor. In this role, you will be the driving force behind your assigned production line, taking hands-on responsibility for team direction, safety compliance, quality assurance, and output goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong, supportive leader who knows how to optimize workflows and keep personnel motivated in a fast-paced setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Personnel Leadership: Directs, manages, and assigns daily tasks to production floor personnel to ensure continuous, efficient line operations.

  • Workflow Optimization: Monitors overall shift productivity, tracking progress against strict daily packaging and production deadlines.

  • Quality & Compliance: Audits line outputs to guarantee compliance with company standards, monitoring product quality, assembly accuracy, and team safety practices.

  • Attendance Tracking: Manages team scheduling, monitors personnel attendance, and addresses workflow bottlenecks due to staffing shortages.

  • Material Management: Utilizes a strong knowledge of packing materials and packaging procedures to safely feed lines and minimize waste.

  • Reporting: Records and reports shift updates, equipment bottlenecks, and inventory tracking details to the production manager.

  • Maintenance: Oversees daily housekeeping across the assigned production area to preserve a clean, efficient, and orderly facility.

Qualifications

  • Experience (Non-Negotiable): Proven professional experience leading production lines, packaging operations, or warehouse floor teams is strictly required. Direct experience managing and directing personnel is mandatory.

  • Technical Knowledge (Non-Negotiable): Strong, clear understanding of packing materials, packaging procedures, and warehouse production workflows.

  • Skills: * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong natural leadership capabilities.

    • Analytical ability to monitor live production metrics, identify issues, and adjust floor personnel placements dynamically.

    • Strong basic math skills and technical aptitude to handle inventory calculations or reporting software.

  • Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience working within cold storage, food-grade production, or logistics environments.

    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

    • Experience working with integrated ERP systems or specialized inventory management networks.

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and lead on the warehouse floor for the full duration of the shift and routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and E-Verify screening.
