2nd shift: 2:45 PM - 11:05 PM, Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays

3rd shift: 10:45 PM - 7:05 AM, Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays
About the Role
Core Personnel Staffing is hiring Process Technicians for a growing plastic injection molding manufacturer. In this role, you’ll optimize and maintain production processes and help reduce product scrap, working hands-on with molding presses on the production floor.
Responsibilities

Perform first-piece startup and process verification

Verify end-of-arm tooling for robots and initiate robot programs or cam settings where applicable

Set up assembly and decorating equipment per the Master Process Control Sheet

Make sure the correct process monitoring sheet is at the press after every mold, material, or insert change

Perform process verification checks and log results

Respond to operator questions and concerns about product and process

Complete First Piece Approval documentation for your assigned area

Identify needed machine and tool repairs and initiate work orders

Take part in problem solving, continuous improvement, and all safety activities
Qualifications

Plastic injection molding experience required (hands-on press experience preferred)

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent related experience and training

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and product drawings

Strong basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle moderate to heavy physical activity

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Automotive industry background is a plus
Compensation & Benefits

$26-$34/hour DOE

Shift premium: +$0.75/hr for 2nd shift, +$1.00/hr for 3rd shift
