Position: Quality Control Testing Associate / Electronics Test Technician

Location: Katy, TX area

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour + Lucrative Overtime Opportunities (Paid Weekly)

Core Personnel Staffing Services is immediately hiring Quality Control Testing Associates to join a premier, global leader specializing in high-performance Power Electronics Systems.

This is not a basic inspection role—this is an elite, hands-on position executing critical diagnostic testing and failure analysis on advanced, industrial-grade electrical equipment. If you possess sharp troubleshooting skills, command a mastery of electrical schematics, and are dedicated to zero-defect manufacturing, we want you on our team! Your Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional Acceptance Testing: Execute complex production line safety and performance tests, including structural insulation assessments, high-voltage isolations, and full functional checks.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Swiftly isolate, diagnose, and troubleshoot basic electrical test failures, identifying root causes and mapping out corrective actions.

  • Schematic Mastery: Seamlessly interpret complex electrical blueprints, industrial schematics, and engineering drawings to perform precision validation checks.

  • Rigorous Documentation: Maintain absolute accuracy when logging digital test parameters, tracking performance data, and completing official compliance reports.

  • 6S & Safety Leadership: Actively monitor testing cells for strict PPE compliance and hazard controls, keeping high-voltage work bays pristine and aligned with 6S lean standards.

Position Requirements:

  • Hands-on Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dedicated quality control testing experience within an electronics or power distribution manufacturing environment (2+ years preferred).

  • Advanced Instrument Mastery: Expert, proficient usage of critical diagnostic tools including digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, high-voltage isolators, and current clamps .

  • Analytical Problem Solving: Superior troubleshooting, diagnostic, and technical data interpretation skills.

  • Communication & Tech Skills: Fluent in professional English (written and verbal) with strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for system report logging.

  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to safely lift, push, and maneuver up to 40 lbs across the testing floor.
