Position Overview
Core Personnel Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to support maintenance and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, calibrating, and maintaining electrical, electronic, and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while also supporting and leading others.
Essential Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and industrial equipment.

Repair and maintain industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.

Install and connect electrical equipment, components, wiring, and fixtures.

Repair electrical wiring, circuits, control systems, and electronic components.

Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
-
Calibrate and test electrical and electronic equipment.
-
Troubleshoot and repair computer-controlled manufacturing systems.

Work with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial control systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Maintain equipment logs documenting repairs, testing, calibrations, and performance issues.

Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate equipment repairs as needed.

Work with supervisors, engineers, equipment operators, and other maintenance personnel to identify and resolve issues.

Help coordinate and direct the work of other team members when needed.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or a related area.

Advanced to expert-level electrical knowledge.
-
Strong mechanical abilities.
-
Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
-
Knowledge of computers and electronics.
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with electrical systems ranging from 24V–480V AC, including single-phase and three-phase power and DC voltage.

Experience with PLC programming, including creating, editing, and troubleshooting programs.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of safety practices.

Ability to perform precise and detailed work.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to use hand and power tools.

Ability to become forklift certified.
Required Tools & Equipment
Candidates must have access to the required hand tools/tool pouch or toolbox and a cell phone with text messaging capability.
