Heavy Material Handler – Distribution Center
We are currently hiring Heavy Material Handlers for a busy distribution center. This is a physically demanding warehouse position for individuals who are comfortable performing heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the workday. The ideal candidate should be dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.

Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and products.

Move materials throughout the warehouse and place them in designated areas.

Stack, organize, and stage products for shipping and receiving.

Assist with preparing orders and materials for shipment.

Use pallet jacks, carts, dollies, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.

Inspect products for visible damage and report issues to a supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.

Work safely around forklifts, trucks, and other warehouse equipment.

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Physical Requirements
This position requires heavy physical labor throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to:

Lift and move heavy materials repeatedly.

Stand and walk for extended periods.

Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull frequently.

Move large or bulky products safely with assistance when needed.

Maintain a steady pace in a physically demanding environment.

Safely handle materials while following proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications

Previous warehouse, distribution, loading, unloading, or material-handling experience is preferred.

Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting.

Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Must follow all company safety rules and procedures.

Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

Must be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
This is a hands-on position that requires consistent physical activity and heavy lifting. Candidates should be prepared to work on their feet and perform manual labor throughout the shift.
