Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. The Dock Worker will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pulling customer orders, moving materials throughout the warehouse, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks.
-Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently.
-Use RF scanners to track inventory and shipments.
-Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
-Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage.
-Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-Follow all company and client safety policies and procedures.
-Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-Previous warehouse, dock worker, or material handling experience preferred.
-RF scanner experience required.
-Order pulling experience preferred.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Dependable, punctual, and reliable work habits.
-Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
Physical Requirements
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
-Ability to work in a warehouse and loading dock environment.
-Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with warehouse and material-handling work.
