Job Position: Electrical Assembler

Location: Allen,TX75013

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and machinery. You will read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure products are built to exact specifications. The ideal candidate has steady hands, excellent color vision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Wiring: Assemble electrical systems and control panels according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles. Install and mount electrical controls, panels, sensors, and components. Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables. Perform point-to-point wiring and harness installation. Soldering or micro-welding components to printed circuit boards (PCBs) if required. Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and bills of material (BOMs). Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately. Testing & Quality Control: Perform functional testing on finished assemblies using testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.). Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors and operational defects. Troubleshoot errors and repair or replace defective parts to meet quality standards. Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S methodology). Adhere to all safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements. Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A certificate from a vocational school or an Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology is a plus. Experience: [Insert number] years of experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong knowledge of electrical theory and components (relays, breakers, transformers, etc.). Ability to identify wire colors and sizes (AWG). Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to manipulate small parts using hand tools. Tools: Proficient in using hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, soldering irons) and power tools (drills, heat guns). Physical Requirements Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to [35-50] lbs. Good color vision to distinguish color-coded wires and components. Work Environment Work is typically performed in a manufacturing or factory setting. May involve exposure to noise, dust, and moving mechanical parts (PPE will be provided). Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on production shifts.
