Position Title: EHS Technician
Number of Workers
Needed: 2 for dayshift (7am – 4pm); 1 night shift (3pm -11:30 pm)
Pay Rate Range:$21.00-$25.00/hr, based on experience
Shift Schedule & Hours:
Monday–Friday, (Day Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) (Night shift: 3 PM- 12:30 PM)

Job Description & Key Duties:
-Conduct workplace risk assessments and identify potential safety and environmental hazards.
-Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
-Assist with the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
-Develop and deliver employee training on workplace safety, PPE, chemical handling, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
-Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
-Assist with chemical handling and emergency management activities.
-Identify and report safety hazards, non-compliance, and opportunities for improvement.
-Provide guidance to employees and departments regarding safe and sustainable work practices.
-Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other departments to promote a strong safety culture.
-Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, audit documentation, and training records.
Special Requirements:
-Safety-toe closed-toe boots, high-visibility vest, and safety eyewear
-Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, ----Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
-Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, workplace risk assessment, chemical handling, and accident prevention.
-Experience with safety audits, EHS training, hazard identification, and workplace incident investigations.
-Safety-toe closed-toe boots, high-visibility vest, and safety eyewear required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field.
-Previous EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
-Experience with chemical handling and emergency management.
-Knowledge or training in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, RBA, RoHS, IECQ 8000, HSPM, ESD, 5S, and other related EHS and quality management systems.
-Experience developing and delivering employee safety training programs.
-Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and audit/compliance skills.
