Distribution Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to join our production and distribution team. The Distribution Technician is responsible for accurately inspecting, sorting, packaging, and shipping label and print products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately inspect, separate, sort, slot, and package label and print products.

• Maintain all required quality control standards throughout the production and shipping process.

• Use the ERP system to accurately record labor hours, materials, and production information.

• Ensure all shipments are completed accurately and shipped to the correct person, location, or customer according to the daily job schedule, job ticket, supervisor/lead instructions, or customer-specific requirements.

• Double-check all shipments leaving the production facility to identify and correct errors before products reach the customer.

• Communicate printing, laminating, packaging, or shipping problems and quality concerns to the appropriate team members.

• Communicate with courier companies and delivery drivers regarding shipping delays, special deliveries, or other issues that may affect customer deliveries.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules and procedures.

• Be available to work overtime or alternate shifts as business needs require.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, which is an essential function of the position.

• Comply with company policies, including drug-free workplace requirements and all safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand approximately two-thirds to the full work shift.

• Frequently use hands and fingers to handle and feel products.

• Reach with hands and arms regularly throughout the shift.

• Lift up to 50 pounds as required during the workday.

• Perform work requiring close vision and the ability to clearly see objects approximately 20 inches or less away.

• Identify and distinguish different colors accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
